Lamentum - A Pixel Art Survival Horror Game

Lamentum is a pixel art survival horror game developed by Obscure Tales. The game is set in New England in the mid-nineteenth century and follows the story of Victor, a young aristocrat on a mission to find a cure for a rare disease. Victor's last hope lies in the Grau Hill mansion, which is governed by an earl capable of granting any wish. However, at what price? The mansion is engulfed in darkness and will take us on a journey of nightmares, where we may become trapped forever.

The game boasts detailed pixel art combined with actual light and shadow technology. The mansion is a labyrinthine maze filled with enigmas and dangers, and we must use our ingenuity and a multitude of objects at our disposal to survive. Every action we take can alter the course of the story, and Victor must choose wisely whom to trust and what decisions to make to achieve his goal. The game features a large number of characters with different motivations, multiple enemies and terrifying bosses, and a large amount of weapons and objects. We must choose whether to fight or hide to survive. The game also features unique outdoor areas and variable climatology. Lamentum is an adventure with different endings depending on the decisions we make, and its nightmare plot is dark and twisted, aimed at an adult audience.
